Welcome to the Transformative Memory Digital Archive, a virtual space for knowledge exchanges and creation on memory and loss in the afterlives of war, genocide, slavery or settler colonialism.
The Archive is part of The Transformative Memory international partnership involving artists, academics and social leaders and movements from Canada, Colombia, Indonesia, The United States, Peru and Uganda, and co-hosted by the University of British Columbia and the Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Centre, located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil- Waututh) Nations.
